Tai and Jason made the trip out to Ottawa for the international animation festival. They reported back with wild tales of parties, amazing films, and lots of new friends. Tai had so much fun he cried when he had to leave! Hopefully next year we can all go.

Skunk Fu!

Our animation production on Season 1 of Skunk Fu! has officially wrapped and the show has begun airing on weekdays at 3.45/3.50 on the BBC and BBC1 and on Saturdays at 6pm on the CBBC Channel, It is also airing on ABC Australia. We would like to thank everyone that worked on it for making it such a great show and smooth production. Hopefully it will start airing in North America soon! Until then, check out the official Skunk Fu! website here

1 Year of MonkeyPaw!

Sooooo, July 1st was the unofficial "official" 1 year anniversary of MonkeyPaw Media. How time flies when you are busy working! To commemorate this special day, we printed up some compulsory uniforms for all the staff. Wouldn't that be the day...Let us know if you want a shirt. It's summer here at MPM, and we are charging through 2007 like a chimp on a collie. A few new projects coming in and a few more monkeys in the barrel. We just recently had our first (large) staff party, so I'm sure there will be some new pics uploaded soon... until then stay tooned....

Chewie Strikes Back

Here is a stop-motion short a friend and I made. There are no credits or anything, just madness. I did the acting at the start, he did the gore and gunplay, I composited the jpegs with Final Cut Pro on a mac, and he did the audio... Oh yeah the audio isn't mastered yet, so it's a little patchy...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Yay! 2007! And what a start for us at MPM! First day back to work after the holidays, I get to work around 9:15, to rain pouring into our kitchen area! Luckily for us the roofer came and the sky cleared up and no damage. I guess you have to pay to be on the top floor!

Today's drawing is a portrait(caricature?) of me by Jason's daughter Oceana, age 5. Also, I posted some links to some of our artists personal pages. Check them out! Anyways, I hope everyone had some awesome relaxing holidays, now get back to work!
